Rezifi ranks jobs against your own resume: it reads your skills from what you have written, compares them with the skills each job lists, and puts the best fit first. Every job then shows its fit as a word, Strong, Good, Workable or A stretch today, with the skills you have and the gaps beside it.
This is a tour of Rezifi's jobs matched to your resume as you see them: what the ranking starts from, what the fit means, what each line on a job card tells you and what you can do from there. For the method you can follow by hand on any job board, read how to find jobs that match your resume.

What does Rezifi rank jobs against?
One resume, and the page says which. The heading reads Jobs, matched to your resume's name, so you always know which resume the list is for. Left on Auto, Rezifi uses your newest resume.
If you keep more than one resume, say one for data roles and one for product roles, press the name and pick the other. The list ranks again for that resume. Tailored copies are not in the picker: a copy is made for one job.
There is nothing else to set up. Rezifi reads your skills from your resume, so you never fill in a form of them.
How is the fit worked out?
Two things decide what you see. The fit on a job is how much of that job's listed skills your resume covers. The order of the list also weighs your overall profile against the job, so the ranking is more than a count of skills.
That is why Rezifi shows fit as a word on the card. A bare figure invites you to compare it with an exam mark, and a job is not an exam. Four words say what you need to decide:
- Strong fit. The closest matches to your resume. Start here.
- Good fit. A real match. Read the gaps before you apply.
- Workable fit. Within reach, when the job matters to you.
- A stretch today. A longer way from your resume as it stands.
On the Jobs page the word sits inside a ring of four arcs, and in the editor's Jobs tab it sits beside four rising bars. More lit means a closer fit. A low fit is never drawn in red, because it measures your distance to a job, not a fault in you.
When a job has no fit yet, Rezifi says so. A card with no score reads Unrated. While the scores for a new resume are still being built, jobs read Not ranked yet and claim no fit at all, because a guess would be worse than a wait.
What does each line on a job card mean?
Under the fit, a card tells you why it landed there, in plain words:
- Core skills. A line such as “Has 3 of 4 core skills” counts how many of the role's core skills you have.
- Matched skills. The skills of yours the job asks for, each named.
- Missing. The skills the job asks for that your resume does not show, on a line of their own.
- What it could not check. Required skills Rezifi could not check are counted on the card, so they are never quietly dropped.
- Years. When a posting states a minimum, the card can set it beside yours: “Asks 5+ years, you have 6”.
- Level. “Your level”, or “A step up: senior role, you read as mid-level”. It says “read as” because that is Rezifi's reading of your resume.
- Your history. If your resume names the company as an employer, the card can say so: “You worked here, 2019 to 2021”.
Open a card for more, including a Measurements section, folded away, that breaks the fit down for anyone who wants the detail.
What can you do with a gap?
Read it honestly first. A gap is either a skill you have and left off your resume, or a skill you do not have yet. Only the first belongs on your resume.
If you have it, press the gap. Rezifi opens your resume with that skill ready to add to your skills section. It is never added on its own, you confirm it, and one undo takes it back. If you do not have it, you have learned something useful: which skill stands between you and that job.
What can you do from a job?
- Save or hide it. Keep it for later, or take it off your list.
- Open job. Read the posting on the employer's own site.
- Tailor. Rezifi's AI resume tailor rewrites your bullets, summary and skills in that job's own keywords, never invents an employer, role, date or credential, and shows every change on its line to keep or dismiss. It works on a copy, so your original is untouched.
- Auto apply. Rezifi's auto-apply copilot fills the whole application on any job site, even one it has never seen, page after page, until it is ready to send.
Your matches come with you into the editor. The Jobs tab beside your resume lists them with “Top match” on the first card, so you can tailor for a job without leaving the page. Your own resume from Word or Google Docs keeps its design through all of it, no template needed. No resume yet? Build one from Rezifi's ATS-friendly templates, and your matches follow from it.
Rezifi then keeps track of every resume you send, and a job you have applied to says so on its card.

Questions people ask
How does Rezifi match jobs to my resume?
Rezifi reads the skills in your resume, compares them with the skills each job lists, and ranks the jobs best fit first. The fit on a job is how much of its listed skills your resume covers, and the order also weighs your overall profile. There is no form of skills to fill in.
What do Strong fit, Good fit, Workable fit and A stretch today mean in Rezifi?
They are Rezifi's four levels of fit between your resume and a job, from closest to furthest. Strong fit is where to start, Good fit is a real match, Workable fit is within reach, and A stretch today is a longer way from your resume as it stands. A low fit is never shown in red.
Which resume does Rezifi use to rank jobs?
Your newest resume, unless you pick another. The Jobs page names the resume it is matched to, and pressing that name lets you choose a different one, which ranks the list again.
Why does a job in Rezifi say Unrated or Not ranked yet?
Rezifi only shows a fit it can back. Unrated means that job has no score against your resume. Not ranked yet means the scores for your resume are still being built, so the job claims no fit until they are ready.
Does Rezifi add missing skills to my resume?
Only when you confirm it. Pressing a gap on a job opens your resume with that skill ready to add, and one undo takes it back. Add only a skill you have really used.
Are Rezifi's job matches free?
Yes. Rezifi is free to get started, no card needed, and the jobs matched to you are free for as long as you use them.
