Who we are, and what Rezifi is
Rezifi is operated by Rezifi AI LLP (LLPIN ACX-0634), a limited liability partnership registered in India with the Registrar of Companies, Haryana. When these terms say we, us or our, that is who you are agreeing with. When they say you, that is the person using Rezifi.
These terms cover the Rezifi website at rezifi.com, the Rezifi app at app.rezifi.com, our API at api.rezifi.com, the files we serve from assets.rezifi.com, and the Rezifi browser extension.
Rezifi is software you operate. It is a document editor that keeps your resume's formatting intact while you change the words; an AI that proposes edits you accept or reject one at a time; a feed of job postings we collect from employers and job sites; and a browser extension that fills in an application form for you and then stops and waits.
What Rezifi is not
We are not a recruiter, an employment agency, a staffing or placement service, an employment exchange, or a career, legal, immigration or tax adviser. We do not introduce you to employers, we hold no mandate from any employer, and no employer pays us anything.
We do not promise you an interview, an offer, a reply, or a hiring outcome of any kind, and nothing Rezifi produces is professional advice. What we offer is a better-prepared application, sent faster. Whether it works is not something we or anyone else can guarantee.
For anything in these terms, write to support@rezifi.com.
If you need a postal address — for example, to serve a legal notice — write to us by email and we will provide it. Rezifi AI LLP's registered office is on public record with the Registrar of Companies, Haryana, under LLPIN ACX-0634.
Accepting these terms
You accept these terms by continuing past our sign-in screen. Next to the sign-in buttons, in the app and in the browser extension, a notice reads: "By continuing, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." Continuing past that point is your agreement. If you do not agree, do not sign in.
There is no separate sign-up step at Rezifi. The first time you sign in, your account is created. So the sign-in button is the moment this agreement starts.
Your agreement with us is made up of these terms, our privacy policy, and — if and when you buy something — the plan details shown to you in the app at the time.
This is not your data consent
Agreeing to these terms is not the same as consenting to how we handle your personal data, and we do not treat it as such. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act requires consent that is free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous, given against a notice that stands on its own. A single line linking to two documents is not that.
So we ask separately, at the point we collect the information, and the privacy policy sets out what we do with it. Nothing you agree to on this page is treated as your consent to data processing.
These terms took effect on the date shown at the top of this page. When we change them, we keep the earlier versions published so you can see what you agreed to and when.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to use Rezifi. We should be straight with you about what that means in practice: we do not verify anyone's age at sign-up, and we are not going to imply a control we do not have. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the data.
Rezifi is for your own job search. One account per person, and please do not share it. Do not use Rezifi to apply for jobs on anyone else's behalf, and do not use it to source, screen, tailor or apply for candidates if you are an employer, recruiter or agency. That is not what this is, and it is the one use we will act on.
Keeping your account safe
You sign in with a link or a code sent to your email, or through a provider like Google. That means your email inbox is the key to everything in your Rezifi account — your resumes, your saved answers, your application history. Protect it, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
Keep the email address on your account current and able to receive our messages. It is how you sign in, and it is how we give you every notice under these terms. A notice counts as given when we send it there, whether or not you read it. If you are about to lose access to that inbox, change it first.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What you can and cannot do
Use Rezifi for your own job search, lawfully, and you will never hear from us about this section. The rest of it exists because a few things genuinely matter.
Do not misrepresent yourself
- Do not claim employment, education, qualifications or credentials you do not have. Rezifi rewrites what is true about you; it is not a way to make something true that is not.
- Do not apply for a job as somebody else, or let anyone use your account to do that.
- Do not send applications in bulk without reading them. Auto-apply stops and waits for you on purpose.
- Do not try to defeat, automate around, or otherwise bypass the review step before an application is submitted.
Do not misuse the service
- Nothing unlawful, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent where something came from.
- Do not upload anything containing a virus or other malicious code. Our servers open, convert and render the files you send us, so a file crafted to attack that software is an attack on us — we may refuse it, stop processing it, or delete it, and that is not us failing to provide the service.
- Do not scrape or bulk-export our job data, resell or white-label Rezifi, or use it to build a competing service.
- Do not create duplicate or automated accounts to get around a limit, and do not reverse engineer or probe our systems.
Fair use
Rezifi has limits: a daily allowance for AI work, a cap on how large a file can be, a cap on how many uploads run at once, and rate limits on our API. The current numbers are shown in the app rather than written here, so that adjusting them does not require rewriting this page. We will give you notice before we tighten one in a way that affects you.
Two honest notes about limits. A limit that did not stop you is not permission to exceed it — some of them fail open when a system of ours is down. And if you hit one part-way through something, that work may stop and you may need to start it again.
Your resumes, versions and exports
When you upload a resume we keep the original file, and we keep every version you save. We will not knowingly delete them, and you can delete any of them yourself at any time.
What we do not promise is that every operation on a document will succeed. Rendering, exporting and restoring all depend on software that converts between formats, and format conversion is imperfect work:
- A render, export or version restore can fail. When one does, we tell you rather than saving something wrong.
- A PDF or Word export may not look identical to what you see in the editor.
- An imported document may not be read perfectly. We show you what we could not interpret rather than guessing.
- Where we cannot safely restore a version, we fail and say so instead of writing a document over the wrong file.
If you edit the same resume in two places at once, the last save wins. Rezifi is not built for two people working on one document at the same time.
Links to your generated PDFs and thumbnails are signed and short-lived. Within that window, anyone who has the link can open the file — so treat one you have copied or forwarded the way you would treat the document itself.
Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. That is good practice with any online tool, and we would rather say so than let you find out.
What our AI does, and what you must check
This is the most important section in these terms, so it is worth reading properly.
Rezifi's AI proposes changes to your resume. It does not make them. Every suggestion is shown to you in place, on the line it would change, and nothing is applied until you accept it. When you accept one, those words become your resume — your statement, in your name, to an employer. We drafted a suggestion; you decided what your resume says.
That is not a technicality we are hiding behind. It is how the product is deliberately built, and it is why you must read each suggestion before accepting it.
What the AI will and will not do
It rewrites experience you already have. It will not invent an employer, a role, a date, or a qualification. Where it suggests an illustrative figure to show the impact of your work — the kind of number a good resume carries — it marks that figure in amber and asks you to confirm it, because we cannot know whether it is true of you and you can.
Do not accept a figure you cannot stand behind. A number you did not check is still a number you sent.
AI systems also make ordinary mistakes: an awkward sentence, a wrong emphasis, a claim that reads stronger than the work it describes. Read what you are accepting. If a suggestion overstates what you did, edit it or dismiss it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your own application. We are responsible for building a tool that shows you every change and never applies one behind your back, and for running that tool with reasonable care and skill.
Grades, fit scores and applicant tracking systems
Rezifi gives your resume a grade, and scores job postings against your skills. Both are our opinion, formed by our own rules. Neither is a prediction, and no employer recognises either of them.
The grade measures two things: how your resume is written, and how complete it is. It is scored against our own rubric — a view about what makes a resume read well, not a measurement of how any employer will react to it.
A fit score compares what a posting asks for against the skills we read off your resume. If we misread a skill, or a posting describes the job badly, the score will be off. Use it to prioritise, not to decide.
About ATS
Most employers screen applications through an applicant tracking system. We cannot promise that any particular one will parse your resume correctly, score it a certain way, or pass it on. Every employer configures theirs differently, none of them publish how, and anyone who promises you a pass rate is guessing.
What we do is give the parser the best input we can: clean structure, real headings, no layout tricks, and the job's own vocabulary where you genuinely have the experience. That is the part anyone actually controls, and it is what we build for.
The Rezifi browser extension
We give you a personal, revocable licence to use the extension for your own job search. You may not modify it, redistribute it, or use it through anything other than the browser you installed it in.
The extension asks Chrome for access to all websites. We would rather explain that than bury it. Job application forms live on domains nobody can list in advance — Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and thousands of company-specific career subdomains — and Chrome has no permission for "the site the user is applying on".
What that permission does and does not mean in practice:
- On six job sites — LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Foundit, Wellfound and Glassdoor — and on the common hiring platforms we recognise, such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and Ashby, a script runs automatically when you open a job page, and reads the listing.
- On every other website you visit, only a small local check runs when a page loads, to see whether the page looks like a job listing. If it does not, nothing else happens and nothing is sent. If it does, the extension reads the listing and sends us the site's domain name — nothing else about the page, and nothing about you. Our privacy policy describes this in full.
- Beyond that, the extension acts on a page only when you open the Rezifi side panel and start something on that tab.
- We do not read, collect or transmit anything else from the other pages you browse.
The extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store and is subject to its rules as well as these terms. It updates itself. We may change what it does, and if it is ever removed from the store or we stop supporting it, the rest of Rezifi carries on working in your browser.
Auto-apply: what you are asking us to do
Auto-apply is a tool you operate. Each click is an instruction from you to the software, carried out on the page you are looking at. We are not applying on your behalf, and we do not act as your agent — you are applying, quickly, with help.
That distinction is not word games. It is why the review step exists, and it is why we will not build a version that submits without you.
What happens when you run it
- It reads the application form on the employer's page, along with the page's text and the job description.
- It works out which of your details and saved answers belong in which field. That step uses an AI provider, so the form's structure and text, and the answers you have saved, are sent to us and on to that provider.
- It attaches your resume and fills the form in.
- Then it stops, and shows you the completed form.
Nothing is submitted at that point. Submitting is a separate action that you take, after you have seen what is in the form. When you take it, the software presses the employer's own submit button for you.
What that means for you
Check the form before you submit it. Field mapping is inference, not certainty — a value can land in the wrong box, a dropdown can be matched to the wrong option, and a question can be misread. The completed form is shown to you precisely so that you can catch that.
Once an application is submitted, the employer and their applicant tracking system hold it. We cannot recall it, correct it, or delete it, and their privacy policy applies to it, not ours. If you need something changed after the fact, you have to contact the employer yourself.
We will run auto-apply with reasonable care and skill. What we cannot promise is that an employer's form will behave the way we expect, that every field will be filled, or that a submission will be received — websites change without notice and many are not built to be automated at all.
Demographic and equal-opportunity answers
Some employers ask voluntary questions about gender, ethnicity, veteran status, disability or pronouns. Rezifi can save your answers so you do not have to retype them.
Saving them is entirely your choice. The fields are blank unless you fill them in, Rezifi works exactly the same if you never do, and you can clear them at any time in your preferences.
You should know how it works today rather than how we would like to describe it. When auto-apply fills a form, these answers go through the same field-mapping step as everything else, which means they are sent to an AI provider along with the rest of your details. They are sensitive information, our privacy policy treats them as such, and we would rather tell you that plainly than let you assume otherwise.
What is filled in is what you saved. If you would rather answer these questions yourself on the employer's page, leave the fields empty and Rezifi will leave them alone.
Job listings, and the sites they come from
Employers and job sites write the listings in your feed. We collect them from career pages and applicant tracking systems, some arrive because another Rezifi user opened one with the extension, and the extension tells us which employers' career sites exist by reporting a site's domain name when it sees a job listing there. We do not write them, verify them, endorse them, or control them.
So: a listing may be out of date, already filled, duplicated, wrong about the salary or the location, or posted by somebody who is not the employer they claim to be. Treat what you see as a pointer to the employer's own posting, not as a fact we are vouching for. Be careful with anything that asks you for money or for identity documents — a genuine employer at the application stage will not.
If a listing should not be there — because it is yours and you want it gone, because it is fraudulent, or because it infringes someone's rights — tell us and we will look at it. Write to support@rezifi.com.
We can remove a listing without closing anyone's account, and usually that is all that is needed.
The sites you use Rezifi on
LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Workday, an employer's own careers page — each has its own terms, and using Rezifi on one does not exempt you from them. Some restrict automated interaction. You are the one with an account on those sites, so you are the one who has to be comfortable with how you use them, and a site could restrict or close your account there. We have no control over that and cannot get it back for you.
Paid plans
Rezifi has one paid plan. Every new account starts with a free trial of 5 tailored resumes and 10 applications filled by the browser extension. The trial is measured in use, not in days: it lasts until you have used those up, and it never turns into a paid subscription by itself — you subscribe only by choosing to on the billing page and authorising the payment yourself.
After the trial, two things need a subscription: AI tailoring, and the extension's form filling. Everything else — your resumes, the editor, your saved versions, exports, the job feed and your application history — keeps working without one.
The subscription is ₹349 per week, inclusive of all applicable taxes. Whatever the plan, these are true:
- The price, what it includes, and the total including taxes are shown to you before you authorise anything.
- We charge you only through a recurring mandate you set up yourself — UPI AutoPay or a card — with our payment processor, Cashfree Payments India Private Limited. We never charge you without that authorisation.
- We never see your card or UPI details. You enter them on Cashfree's page, and Cashfree tells us the status of the mandate and of each payment.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page in the app. Your access runs to the end of the week you have paid for, and nothing is charged after that.
- If we change the price, we tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel instead.
If a weekly payment fails, we email you and the subscription goes on hold while Cashfree retries; tailoring and form filling pause two days after the week you have already paid for runs out (a short grace period for those retries) — until it is sorted or you subscribe again. Your documents stay where they are — we never delete anything over a missed payment.
Refunds are handled under the law that applies to you, and we will not hide behind a no-refunds line where you have a right to one. Our own rule is simple: cancelling stops the next charge rather than refunding the week already underway, and any charge that should not have happened — a payment taken after you cancelled, or the same week charged twice — is refunded in full to the payment method it came from, usually within seven working days of our confirming it with Cashfree. If something we charged you for did not work, write to us.
Who owns what
While your account is open and you are following these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Rezifi, and to use what it produces for you, for your own job search.
Rezifi itself — the software, the name, the design, the way it works — stays ours. You may not resell it, white-label it, use it to build a competing service, bulk-export from it, or use our API for anything beyond your own job search.
Your content stays yours
Your resume, your saved answers and everything you write remain yours. You give us permission to store, copy, convert, render and process them, and to send them to the AI providers we use, for one purpose only: running Rezifi for you.
That permission does not extend to anything else. We do not use your content to improve our products generally, we do not build datasets from it, we do not sell or share it for anyone else's purposes, and we do not train any model of our own on it. It ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we are required to keep something.
One narrow exception, stated plainly
When Rezifi meets a skill or technology name it does not recognise, it keeps the phrase itself so we can learn to recognise it next time. That is the words only — for example a tool or framework name — with nothing attached about whose resume it came from. It is how the product gets better at reading resumes like yours. If you would rather it did not, write to us.
Feedback
If you send us a suggestion for improving Rezifi, we can use it freely and without owing you anything for it. We mention this only so that sending us a good idea is never awkward.
Rezifi is built partly on third-party and open-source software, which carries its own licences. Write to us and we will tell you what we use.
Your personal data
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, who we send it to, and how long we keep it. It forms part of this agreement, and it is the authority on the subject — we would rather point you to it than restate it here and let the two drift apart.
The operational facts worth repeating, because they affect what you can expect from us:
- You can delete any resume yourself, and everything we derived from it goes with it. You can delete an application record the same way.
- You can clear your saved answers and preferences, including every demographic field, at any time.
- Closing your account, and getting a copy of your data, are self-serve on the account page: the copy downloads at once as a zip file, and deletion happens immediately once you confirm it, after any live subscription is cancelled so nothing is charged afterwards. If you cannot sign in, email us and we do each within 30 days.
- A small amount of operational data that identifies you only by an internal account identifier — error and cost records — is not reached by that deletion today. The privacy policy says so too.
Only you can upload your resume. If a document you upload contains someone else's personal information — a referee's phone number, a colleague named in a project — you need to have been entitled to share it.
Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Rezifi whenever you like, and you can ask us to close your account by writing to us.
We can suspend an account, close it, or switch a feature off for it, where:
- you have broken these terms, particularly the parts about misrepresenting yourself or misusing the service;
- a job site or an employer complains about activity from your account, we have looked at it, and we think the complaint is credible;
- payment for a paid plan stays unpaid after we have told you and given you a chance to fix it; or
- we have to, because the law requires it.
Where it is a first problem and not a serious one, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to put it right before doing anything. Where we have to act immediately to protect someone, we will act first and explain afterwards.
If we close your account, you have 30 days to ask us for your resumes and we will send them to you. If we ever decide to stop offering an account to someone who has done nothing wrong, we will give you 30 days' notice first so you can get your documents out.
If you think we have got a suspension wrong, write to us and say so. We would rather fix a mistake than defend one.
What we promise, and what we do not
We will provide Rezifi with reasonable care and skill. That is a real undertaking and we mean it to be read as one.
What we do not promise:
- That Rezifi will be available without interruption, or free of errors.
- That a suggestion will suit a particular job, or that you will agree with a grade or a fit score.
- That an employer's form or a job site will behave the way we expect. They change without telling us.
- That any application will be received, read, or answered.
We may take Rezifi or part of it offline for maintenance. Where the work is planned and we can reasonably tell you in advance, we will.
Some features are marked as new or experimental when we are still working them out. Those may change or be withdrawn with less notice than the rest, and we will label them so you know which is which.
We may change Rezifi, and we may remove a feature. Products lose features sometimes — we have removed one already — and where a change materially reduces what you get, we will tell you before it takes effect.
Nothing in this section takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be signed away. If you are a consumer, you have those rights whatever this page says.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to provide Rezifi with reasonable care and skill and you lose out because of it, we are responsible for that. This section sets the limits on that responsibility, and we would rather set them out clearly than in capital letters at the bottom of the page.
Because of what Rezifi does, the losses worth naming are these: a job you did not get, an offer withdrawn, employment ended over something in an application, harm to your standing with an employer, an immigration consequence of an application, and the lost earnings, lost opportunity and wasted time that follow from any of them. We are not responsible for those.
For everything else, the most we can owe you in total is the greater of: what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹5,000.
What that limit does not cover
The limit does not apply to:
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by us;
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- our gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- our failure to run an auto-apply with reasonable care and skill; or
- anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
And to be clear about something a clause like this can never do: if you are a consumer, a consumer commission's power to award you compensation comes from the law, not from this page, and nothing here restricts it.
Your responsibility to us
This is deliberately narrow. It is not a general promise to cover our costs — it applies only where you have done one of a few specific things, and only to the extent the problem was actually your fault.
If somebody makes a claim against us because you:
- made a statement to an employer through Rezifi that you knew was untrue;
- applied for a job in someone else's name;
- used Rezifi to run a service for clients or candidates, which these terms do not permit; or
- uploaded someone else's personal information that you had no right to share,
then you will cover the losses and reasonable costs we actually incur as a result. We will tell you promptly if such a claim arrives, and we will not settle it in a way that binds you without asking you first.
This does not sit outside the limit in the section above.
Changes to these terms
We update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and we keep earlier versions published so you can see what changed and when.
Where a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. That matters more here than it does in the privacy policy, because you accepted these terms by continuing past a sign-in screen — there is no signature to point back to, so the notice is the honest part.
If you keep using Rezifi after a change takes effect, that is your agreement to it. If you would rather not, you can close your account, and if you had paid for something you have not used we will sort that out with you.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts at Gurugram, Haryana. Our privacy policy says the same, so the two documents cannot pull in different directions.
If you are a consumer, that sentence does not shut any door the law opens for you. You can complain to a consumer commission where you live or work — that right comes from the Consumer Protection Act, not from us, and nothing on this page can take it away.
Before any of that, please just write to us. Most things are a misunderstanding or a bug, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
We do not offer Rezifi to consumers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
Other terms
These sections continue to apply after your account closes: Who owns what, Your personal data, Our responsibility to you, Your responsibility to us, Governing law and disputes, and this one.
If something outside our reasonable control stops us providing Rezifi — a natural disaster, war, a nationwide network or power failure, a change in the law — we are not responsible for the delay while it lasts. An outage at a supplier we chose is not one of those things; that is ours to answer for.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another business, for example if Rezifi is sold. If that happens we will tell you, and it will not reduce your rights. You cannot transfer yours without asking us.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Rezifi, and they replace anything said earlier. They are written in English, and the English version governs. The headings are there to help you find things, not to change the meaning.
Contact and complaints
