What 564 careers sites in India run on
On 29 October 2026, Rezifi looked at the careers sites of 564 large and notable employers in India: 385 headquartered in India, 165 global companies with large Indian centres and 14 Indian-founded companies headquartered abroad. This is the system each careers site runs on where we could tell, and the reason where we could not.

Indian companies
Darwinbox first, and many own sites
Of the 385 Indian-headquartered companies, we could name what the careers site runs on for 264: a vendor's system for 187, the company's own site for 69 and a public recruitment body's forms for 8. 42 careers pages list no openings of their own, and for 79 we could not tell.
Darwinbox, an Indian HR system, leads with 51. SAP SuccessFactors (25) and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (18) follow, then PeopleStrong (12). 32 vendors in all; most of the rest run one to three companies' careers sites each.
Listed and funded
Two kinds of company, two kinds of system
The two kinds of Indian company on the list hire through different systems. The 276 listed and large companies list jobs on their own sites more often (61) and are the only ones on SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle. The 109 funded companies lean on Darwinbox (22) and on startup systems such as Lever, Greenhouse and Kula (15).
Not named
No openings, or no way to tell
42 careers pages list no openings of their own: 28 ask for a CV by email or through a form, 6 link only to a job portal, 5 say none are open, and 3 post recruitment notices as documents.
We could not tell for 79: 32 careers pages showed neither openings nor a system, 26 companies had no careers page we could find, 13 kept our browser out (a bot wall, or a robots.txt rule we obey), and 8 sites would not load.
Global companies
Global parents: Workday first
The global parents of India's capability centres are a different picture. Workday runs 57 of their 165 careers sites; 34 list jobs on their own site, then Oracle (11) and SAP SuccessFactors (10). A capability centre hires through its parent's careers site, so these say nothing about Indian companies, and the two groups are never added together.
The Nifty 50
The Nifty 50, counted
The Nifty 50 is the one ranked group here: NSE's index of fifty large listed companies, read from NSE's own list on 29 October 2026. 47 of the 50 are on our list. We could name the system of 43: 20 list jobs on their own site, 8 run SAP SuccessFactors, and we could not tell for 3.
How we checked
How Rezifi read these careers sites
Every figure on this page is a count of the 564 companies, beside the group it is a count of. The data file holds every count.

A list, not a ranking
The 564 companies on Rezifi's India list of large and notable employers: listed and large Indian companies, funded Indian companies, the global parents of India's capability centres, and 14 Indian-founded companies headquartered abroad. It has no size order and is not every employer in India.
The system the careers site runs on
A company's system is the one its careers site sends applicants to: the vendor host its careers page or openings land on, embed or call, or its careers link points at. That can be a front over another system of record.
Read twice
Rezifi's crawl of these careers sites named what it could. Every site it could not name was opened again on 29 October 2026: in a browser, its careers links followed and its openings button pressed once, and by hand where the browser could not settle it.
Its own site
Jobs listed on the company's own site with no vendor visible. A vendor can sit behind a company's own address, so this is never a claim that the company built it.
No openings of its own
A careers page we read that lists no openings: it asks for a CV by email or a form, links only to a job portal, says none are open, or posts recruitment notices as documents.
Could not tell
No careers page we could find, a page that showed neither openings nor a system, a site that would not load, or a bot wall. Our browser answered no bot check and obeyed every robots.txt.
Groups kept apart
A capability centre hires through its parent's careers site, so the 165 global parents are counted on their own and never added to the 385 Indian-headquartered companies.
Counts, never a market share
Every figure is a count of these companies. The companies we could not tell about are not a random part of the list, so no count here is a share of India's employers.

FAQ
The report: common questions
Which hiring systems do Indian companies use?
Of the 385 Indian-headquartered companies Rezifi checked, Darwinbox runs the most careers sites (51), then SAP SuccessFactors (25), Oracle Recruiting Cloud (18) and PeopleStrong (12). 69 list jobs on their own site with no vendor visible, and for 79 we could not tell. These are large and notable employers, not every Indian employer.
Do Indian companies use Workday?
Rarely among those headquartered in India: 2 of the 385 we checked, and 0 of the 276 listed and large ones. Among the 165 global companies with large Indian centres, Workday runs 57 careers sites, more than anything else.
What do the Nifty 50 companies use for hiring?
Of the 47 Nifty 50 companies on Rezifi's list, 20 list jobs on their own site, 8 run SAP SuccessFactors and 15 run on 8 other vendors' systems or public recruitment forms. 1 posts recruitment notices only, and we could not tell for 3.
Is this a market share?
No. The 564 companies are Rezifi's list of large and notable employers in India, not a ranking and not a sample of every employer, and the companies we could not tell about are not a random part of it. Every figure is a count of these companies.
Why could you not tell for some companies?
We could not tell for 79: 32 careers pages showed neither openings nor a system, 26 companies had no careers page we could find, 13 kept our browser out (a bot wall, or a robots.txt rule we obey), and 8 sites would not load. Our browser answered no bot check and read robots.txt before every page.
Where does this data come from?
Rezifi's crawl reads the careers sites of the companies on its India list for its job feed. On 29 October 2026 we counted what each careers site runs on from that crawl, then looked again in a browser, and by hand, at every company it could not name. A company counts once, in the system its careers site sends applicants to.
