The role
Run the engine underneath. APIs, the jobs crawler, the resume pipeline.
Behind every tailored resume and filled form is an API, a pipeline that reads and writes real Word documents, and a jobs engine that gathers openings from company careers sites and ranks them for each person.
You will build and run it: the routes, the queues and the jobs that work through the night, the Postgres they write to, and the alarms that tell us when something breaks before a user does.
What you'll do
Build and run the API behind the web app, the extension and the site.
Grow the jobs crawler and keep every listing fresh.
Rank jobs for each person from what their resume says they want.
Keep the resume pipeline fast and correct, from upload to export.
What you'll bring
Production Node and TypeScript, and Postgres you can tune.
Queues, schedulers and jobs that run while everyone sleeps.
You make systems observable and failures loud.
Ownership: you deploy it, watch it and fix it.
