If you want a Jobscan alternative, Rezifi does the same core job, checking your resume for applicant tracking systems and tailoring it to each role, and then fills the application for you on any job site. Its ATS check is free with no sign-up, its one-click fixes are on the free plan, and you can tailor your resume from your phone.

This post compares the two on what each one's own pages say, read on 19 October 2026. It also explains the one real difference in how they score a resume, so you know which number you are looking at.

Two different scores: a Match Rate and an ATS score

Jobscan's Match Rate measures one resume against one job. You upload a PDF or DOCX, or paste your resume's text, paste the job listing, and get a number out of 100 for that pairing. Its page sets 75% as the target, and says the Match Rate is its own visual guide, not a score an employer's ATS assigns.

Rezifi's ATS score measures the resume itself, so you need no job in hand to check it. It scores your resume out of 100 the way an ATS and a recruiter read it, with a letter grade, and looks at what makes parsing go wrong:

  • Section headings a parser can recognise: Experience, Education, Skills.
  • Contact details written as text, where software can find them.
  • Dates on every role, so your timeline reads in order.
  • One fact per line, not a title, employer and dates merged into one string.
  • Writing quality, line by line, for the recruiter who reads it next.

Then each job's keywords are the tailor's work. Check once, fix what a machine misreads, and tailor for every job you apply to. For what the number means, see what a good ATS score is.

Checking your resume: free, with no sign-up

Rezifi's free ATS resume checker, the best free ATS checker, takes a Word file, a PDF or a Google Doc with no account and no card. It shows your score and grade, your resume as a machine reads it with each gap marked on its line, every fix named where it belongs, and the score you would reach once they are made.

Sign up free and the fixes apply in one click, on the free plan. A check you do not keep is deleted within 24 hours.

Tailoring: your own resume, on any screen

Rezifi's tailor rewrites your bullets, summary and skills in each job's own keywords. It never invents an employer, role, date or credential, and every change is shown on its line for you to keep or dismiss. It works on a copy, so your original is untouched.

It works on your own resume from Word or Google Docs, no template needed, and keeps every bit of your layout: two columns, tables, text boxes, a photo, your fonts. Import from Google Docs in one click, and export as a new Google Doc, a PDF or a DOCX. No resume yet? Build one from Rezifi's ATS-friendly templates.

And it runs on your phone as well as your laptop. Jobscan's plans page lists its AI Optimizations as desktop only.

Applying: any job site, and you press Submit

Jobscan's Auto Apply finds jobs for you and drafts the application. Its page says it currently matches jobs from Greenhouse, Lever, Workable and 20+ ATS platforms, and it runs on credits: one a job, with 2 a month on its paid plans and more bought.

Rezifi's auto-apply copilot goes wherever you find the job. It fills the whole application on any job site, even one it has never seen: page after page, pressing Next, adding your experience and education and attaching your tailored resume. It learns you, answering from your resume and everything it learns about you, so every application goes faster than the last. On Rezifi's one plan, auto-apply is unlimited.

Both leave Submit to you. With Rezifi you see the finished form and press it yourself.

Questions people ask

Is there a free alternative to Jobscan?

Yes. Rezifi's free ATS resume checker at rezifi.com/ats-resume-checker checks your resume with no account and no card: a score out of 100 with a letter grade, what a machine reads from your file and every fix. Sign up free and the fixes apply in one click, on the free plan.

Is Jobscan free?

Jobscan has a free plan. Its plans page, read on 19 October 2026, lists 5 free resume scans a month on it, with unlimited scans and AI Optimizations on its paid plans. The scan buttons on its resume scanner page open a sign-up page first.

What is the difference between Jobscan's Match Rate and an ATS score?

Jobscan's Match Rate compares your resume with one job description you paste in. Rezifi's ATS score checks the resume itself: its headings, contact details, dates, lines a parser might merge and its writing, out of 100 with a letter grade. Rezifi's tailor then works each job's own keywords into your resume.

Do I need a job description to check my resume?

Not with Rezifi. Its free ATS check scores the resume on its own, so you can check and fix it before you have a job in mind. When you do, Rezifi's tailor rewrites your resume in that job's keywords.

Can I tailor my resume on my phone?

With Rezifi, yes. Rezifi's tailor runs in your phone's browser as well as on a laptop, on your own resume, with every change shown on its line. Jobscan's plans page lists its AI Optimizations as desktop only.

Does Rezifi apply to jobs for me?

Rezifi's auto-apply copilot fills the whole application on any job site, page after page, and attaches your tailored resume. It never presses Submit: you look over the finished form and send it yourself.

Start with the free ATS score checker, no sign-up. Then sign up free to fix your resume in one click, tailor it to every job and fill every application from the same place. Rezifi is free to get started, no card needed, and the pricing page has the one simple plan for unlimited use.
